Kaisa Rastimo (1961) has worked as a director and screenwriter. Her all films have also been awarded prizes at home and abroad. In 2003 she received the prestigious Finland Prize for her career as filmdirector. Her latest children film ”Hayflower and Quiltshoe” (2002) was a major box office success in Finland, and it has also been distributed in Japan with 11 copies. The film has been awarded prizes on many festivals, for example Chicago Internatinal Children Film Festival (2003). There's available a good review about the film on Variety website.
